Is he ready to be a big brother?

Cody is 2.5 years old, but he seems a lot younger than the other kids were when a new baby came into the house. He has been making a lot of progress with his communication. He is especially good and understanding everything we tell him. Now we just need to understand what he's telling us.

We moved Cody out of the baby room and into the toddler bed in Levi's room a couple weeks ago. It hasn't been easy. Those two boys just really feed off each other, making sleep impossible. Most nights Levi ends up in a sleeping bag on the floor of the nursery. Hmm.....they're going to need to figure it out quickly. 

So, we're scheduled to be induced on Tuesday March 18th. Its a couple days after our due date but I'll be grateful for the extra time to get everything ready. We'll see how things play out, I guess. 

I am excited to see how Cody responds to a new baby. He has enjoyed carrying around a baby doll recently and takes good care of it. I always get stressed out thinking about how bad things could go, but really I think Cody will do great, and he'll be up for the task of growing up quickly.
