my options
I hate getting dressed every day. Nothing fits me and I feel very unattractive. Some people are bigger and still show self-confidence and I think it is because they have cute clothes and look good in them. I don't have that. Here are my options:

Amen Tar! I love getting pregnant for that very reason. I am so relieved when I finally don't have to "suck in" any more. :) Maybe you and I should trade some of our clothes, then we will feel like we have something new, even though it isn't. What do you think?
Or I suppose better yet - maybe we should just encourage eachother to eat better and put away the sweets (but like you said, after Christmas!)hm....
Option 4: Give your kids cheetos for Christmas and spend the extra money on some cute new clothes for yourself.
Giving up and buying myself a few things that actually fit made me feel a whole lot better. I hate that I weigh more now than I ever did at 9 months pregnant!
I guess my option 4 was one of the options you already had... except don't try to get the most for your money. Try to get the BEST for your money. Look for a few accessories that will fit you for a few sizes up or down.... sweaters, long shirts, stuff like that. Nice stuff, but washable. Get one of your friends that always dresses cute to go with you. She'll know where to go. (it helps if she is about your size. Then you don't end up at some teeny bopper store feeling stupid.)
Well...it looks like we're going with option 3. Shhhhh.
